The Organisation of Common Cause

Understanding attitudes & limitations

We are here to guide organisations along their routes to become "Organisations of Common Cause". We strongly believe that each organisation has the potential and its means to become an "Organisation of Common Cause".

Change

Joint orientation for change objectives requires content-related and emotional inclusion equally

Attitude

Understanding attitudes enables to recognise potentials and to make the best use of them. Understanding attitudes assesses and defines the range and the limitations of our possibilities.

Common Cause

The "common cause" requires that we actually want "the same thing" rather than "something similar"

Maxims of action

Our confidence in a common direction determines our willingness to act. Maxims of action create standards without losing the appreciation for the potentials of our people.

"Society only exists as a mental concept; in the real world there are only individuals"

Oscar Wilde

An "organisation of common cause" will have the desire, the strength and the ability to take its individuals along on their paths of change. Both by communicating consistent messages of content and by emotional involvement. If the content-related commitment remains weak, the hopes of emotional involvement will also be undermined.
